On 12 September 2025, the IRM acknowledged receipt of a complaint pertaining to GCF Project FP134 “Colombia REDD+ Results-based Payments for results period 2015-2016.” The complainant alleges they were improperly denied benefits previously allocated to them as part of a program to support sustainable forest management in the region of Caqueta, Colombia.

On 25 August 2025, the IRM received a complaint pertaining to adverse impacts to project-affected communities due to alleged non-implementation of activities under GCF Project SAP039 in Pakistan. The IRM registered the complaint on 4 September 2025. During the phase of eligibility determination, the IRM attempted to reach out to the party or parties who submitted the complaint but was unable to secure a meeting or obtain additional information to satisfy eligibility of the complaint.

On 07 May 2025, the IRM acknowledged receipt of a complaint pertaining to GCF Project FP203 “Heritage Colombia (HECO): Maximizing the Contributions of Sustainably Managed Landscapes in Colombia for Achievement of Climate Goals.” The complainant was formerly employed under the GCF Project, working within one of the Executing Entities. The complainant has requested confidentiality, which has been granted in accordance with the IRM's Terms of Reference and Procedures and Guidelines.

On 18 March 2025, the IRM acknowledged receipt of a new complaint with potential relevance to GCF project FP085.

On 11 March 2025, the IRM acknowledged receipt of a complaint filed by wetland-dependent communities residing in Rukingiri district in Uganda. The complainants requested and have been granted confidentiality, in accordance with IRM TOR and PGs. The complainants are represented by a civil society organization.
